San Antonio at Los Angeles

One thing for sure this season - the Lakers pick their spots to show up and make a statement. Still accused (and deservedly so) sometimes of playing soft, the Lakers have picked big games this year to play really hard, and mean, and send their excellent opponent wimpering home. When facing a really good team, they show up and play a different game. This is one of those games. The Lakers lost to the Spurs by one point in San Antonio on January 14th. It was certainly a game which LA had in their hands with 12 seconds left. A questionable foul then put Roger Mason on the line to give the Spurs the lead. Another questionable travel call on Trevor Ariza sealed the deal for the Spurs. Why so much talk of this? Los Angeles is out for revenge. And when this team is motivated, they can blow you out of the building. More proof? LA is 8-1 ATS this season vs. teams at .600 to .700. Take LA here in a statement big win.
