San Antonio at Los Angeles

The San Antonio Spurs certainly have the roster intact from their NBA Championship a year ago, and should be a strong consideration for at least getting there again to defend their title. The Spurs have seemingly been a playoff force since the arrival of Tim Duncan, all the way back to the late 90s. The Clippers have built themselves a good team, but have been severely over-valued in the early going. Despite their 4-2 start to the season, they have yet to cover a game at 0-6 ATS. Despite games with the Lakers, Utah, and Sacramento, they have failed to win any of them by more than seven. San Antonio always seems to rise to the occasion against the better teams as they own a 19-9 ATS record in their last 28 games vs. a team over .600. The Clippers are finding the going tough at home, where they are a woeful 0-8 ATS in their last eight here going back to the end of last season. The Spurs have a history of playing well here as they are 12-5 ATS in their last 17. Make the play on San Antonio.
