St. Louis at Pittsburgh

We have two teams that are headed in 2 different directions here. While the Cardinals have turned the corner a bit after getting swept by the Cubs at Wrigley, they are now 7-5 and face a Pittsburgh team that is 4-10 and is on their way to another losing season it seems thanks in part to their horrendous middle releif bullpen. The price we are receiving with the Cardinals is of high value considering the pithing matchup here. Marquis goes to the mound for the Cardinals and in 12 innings this year has given up 5 runs as his standard performance is 3 runs in about 6 innings. At that point, the Cardinals bullpen comes in and is lights-out as shown by the 2 wins Marquis has which the Cards won 8-3 and 4-2. Malholm, pitching for the Pirates, has gotten rocked hard in his first 2 starts this year to a 7.71 era and has given up 10 earned runs in 11 innings against the Dodgers and Reds. Now, the young pitcher faces the St. Louis Cardinals and against the likes of Puljols, Rolen and Edmunds and has his job cut out for him. What makes this matchup even more appealing for a wager is the play of the Cards bullpen compared that of the Pirates - one of the weakest in the league. Cards here.
