LOSS

After getting clobbered Wednesday night in Detroit the Sacramento Kings hope to have a better time Friday night in Cleveland. The host lost last night in overtime in Chicago 102-90. They will be playing their fourth game in five nights. The first two in that stretch resulted in Cleveland wins. The Cavs broke their 11-game road losing streak Monday night in New Orleans, defeating the Hornets 109-108 in overtime after a furious fourth quarter rally. The Cavs did not cover as a four-point road favorite. The next night though they did cover, this time as a four-point home favorite. They defeated the Los Angles Clippers 94-84. Cleveland trails Chicago by two games for fifth in the Eastern Confernce standings. At home the Cavs have been extremely solid all season. They are 26-9 on the Gund Arena Floor, the second best home record in the Eastern Conference. That does not bode well for the Kings who have played well at home themselves this year but struggled on the road. They are 17-19 SU and14-20-2 ATSon the road and have dropped six of their last seven away from Arco Arena and are 2-5 ATS in that stretch. For the year the Kings are on the road. The Cavs are 11-1 ATS at home revenging a loss vs opponent of 10 points or more this season. Cleveland is money at home while Sacramento bleeds it on the road. Four stars on the Cavs to cover this small number.
