Top pick: #7 (T A'S BAY) (2-1) - She tired to finish third here after chasing a quick pace facing tougher Sept. 17. It was her first start in 11-months and trainer Randy Morse brings her back quickly and drops her to a new low in price. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #11 (Scandia) (8-1) - Price play showed a better effort here at this level on Sept. 10 when making her second start. She's worked since and has enough early speed to not let this outside post hurt her chances. Stretch threat.

3rd pick: #1 (Make a Mine Jack) (7-2) - Lightly-raced filly has finished third in all three starts. Speed/stalker has the rail, is racing second back from a two month break, and should be involved from start-to-finish in this abbreviated (5-furlong) sprint.

4th pick: #5 (Valeries Vixen) (9-2) - She exits the same Sept. 17 race as "T.A.'s Bay" and tired while finishing 3 1/2 lengths back of that rival. Home bred is running third off a half-year's absence and showed an improved effort in her latest.
