Purdue at Northwestern

Northwestern has gotten out and scored in games where they knew they had the advantage. But now the rough-and-tumble physicality of the Big-10 part of the schedule has kicked this team back to its Princeton-style of offense, and sticky defense to try and shorten the game. Seven of Northwestern's last eight games have seen the first half total held to 55 points or less, with one in the 30s, and two others in the 40s. Purdue will be hard pressed to get the pace moving here. And when Northwestern is at home, where they are adept at controlling tempo, this one will not get there early in the game. I like the first half UNDER.
