Providence at Rhode Island

This is a huge in-state rivalry, and the Rhode Island Rams have had a good run as a team, putting out some talented units the past several years. Unfortunately for them this is not one of them, and Providence has arguably their best team in a number of years, with an excellent recruiting class on hand. The Rams may have their worst team in many years and are off to an unflattering 1-10 start. They lost to Georgia State by 32 points and at home vs. a mid-level Ivy League team in Yale. Providence is out of the gate at 10-2. The Rams are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600, while the Friars have taken home the money in seven of their last 10 out-of-conference tilts.
