Top pick: #8 (PRINCE WARRIOR) (3-1) - Lightly-raced gelding ships in from Arlington Park where he tired after setting the pace facing tougher on the grass on Aug. 7. It was his first since late May and first for trainer Conor Murphy. He brings him back quickly, drops him way down, shortens him up in distance and has him racing on a "poly" surface for the first time.

2nd pick: #2 (Captain's Game) (5-1) - He tired here at this level going two-turns on Aug. 14. It was his first race in two months and first for trainer Norm Pointer. He brings him back quickly and cuts him back in distance. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #1 (Say Nay Nay) (10-1) - New York bred ships in from Finger Lakes where he was competitive for twice this price July 31th. Gelding draws the rail, drops to a new low, and his rider makes the trip with him.

4th pick: #3 (Textbook Blues) (4-1) - Longtime maiden has finished thid in two of his last four here and earned a career best figure last out. May grab another minor award with a repeat of it.
