Top pick: #1 (HIDATSA) - Very consistent filly (17-2-9-2) ships in from Indiana Downs after making easy work of a first level allowance field April 16th. 4-year-old is (5-1-4-0) so far in 2012 and should win this if she handles the local "poly". This is her first ever on a synthetic surface, but trainer Tom Amoss must think it won't be an issue.
2nd pick: #4 (Hard Truth) - Lightly-raced mare went (6-2-1-1) here last year after coming back from a very long absence (32 months) in early June of last year. She won her return start and last out she raced evenly here just eight days ago. I think she'll be a factor this evening.
3rd pick: #5 (Krusin Kelly) - Lightly-raced filly raced evenly at Laurel in a grass sprint May 11th in her first race since early November. Her best ever came here on Sept. 22nd and that's been her only start to date on a synthetic track. Stalker is in the mix this evening.
