2nd pick: #5 (Drachma) (4-1) - Lightly-raced gelding has the best early speed of this small field and comes into this off a pace-setting second-place finish on a similar surface at Turfway Park on Dec. 2. Dangerous on the front-end.
3rd pick: #3 (Carly's Real Deal) (9-5) - Difficult call on this runner. He has back races on the grass that would destroy his four challengers if repeatable. However, he showed absolutely nothing at Keeneland on April 20th in his first for owner/trainer Wayne Rice after he bought this 6-year-old in a private sale. Drops and is an obvious win candidate at short odds.
