Portland at Toronto

Portland has been a nice surprise, starting the season 14-7. Prior to losing to the Celtics in teir last game, they had won six in a row and 13 of 16 games. That loss to the World Champs helps us get value on this line as it's lower than it would be if they were coming off their seventh straight win. And, Portland will be that much more motivated, after a 15-point loss. Portland can really play defense (93 ppg allowed on season, 90.6 over their last five games) while Toronto cannot (102.3 ppg on season, 106.4 over their last five). The Raptors are just 18-32 ATS since last season vs. winning teams. As added motivation, Portland is revenging a loss to Toronto the last time these teams met - a game in which the Raptors put up 116 points.
