Portland at New Orleans

The New Orleans Hornets felt the sting a year ago without Chris Paul, as they struggled. They have struggled this season as well, but have been a better team with Eric Gordon on the floor, but the line has caught up to that. Portland is on a four game losing streak, with three of the losses to winning teams. The fact is that seven of their last nine on the road have come vs. winning teams, so they look a lot worse than they really are and they have a good chance of winning here or staying very close. The Hornets are inconsistent, and after a 10+ point win they have followed at 1-4 ATS in their last five, while the Blazers have bounced back from a 10+ point loss to go  5-2 ATS in their last seven. They also have a strong track record here at 6-2 ATS in their last eight. Play is on Portland.
