Portland at Golden State

Golden State had no problem in Game 1 even without Stephen Curry as Klay Thompson stepped up and hit 14 of 28 shots, including seven three-pointers, and finished with 37 points. Draymond Green added 23 points and 13 rebounds and the Warriors defense held Portland to 40.2 percent from the floor. The Trail Blazers probably were a tired team after playing on Friday night and then traveling, however, Portland is fortunate to be in Round 2 as the Blazers were able to take advantage of the injury-depleted Clippers. Damian Lillard scored 30 points but he made just eight of 26 shots and C.J. McCollum was held to just 12 points. These teams have gone OVER the total their last seven meetings and the Blazers figure to have a better shooting night and there seems to be no slowing down of the Warriors. Play the Warriors and the OVER.
