Pittsburgh at San Diego

The Pittsburgh Pirates have been a mess for a long time, with no fix in sight. The Pirates have run their road record with last night's loss to 118-261 in their last 379 road games, for a winning percentage of .311. That may sound bad, but this year they are now 13-43 on the road for a .232 winning percentage, so they have indeed gotten worse.  That that isn't the worst of it either. The Pirates vs righthand pitching on the road are now 2-22 in their last 24, for a .077 winning percentage. This may be a chalky looking line, but looking at the Pirate futility pretty much no line in this situation is chalky enough. San Diego gets the call.
