Pittsburgh at New York

The Penguins enter as the Stanley Cup champs from a year ago, and have picked right back up where they left off, taking four of five from the Red Wings. The Penguins opened with a 3-2 exciting win over the Rangers. This will be the season opener for the Islanders, who didn't have such a pretty ending to their season a year ago as they dropped 10 of their last 12 and over 82 games, finished with the most losses of any team in the entire NHL with 47. It has been a steady decline on the Island, as the Islanders went from 92 points three years ago, down to 79 two years ago, and to just 61 last year. This franchise is heading nowhere and it just wouldn't be wise to play on them here against the Stanley Cup winners as the talent level is greater then the moneyline posted here, so I'm going with the Penguins.
