The once vaunted pitching staff has been a complete bust as they are allowing 5.38 runs per contest. The Pirates depleted the Mets' bull pen last night by plating 12 runs. The Pirates got off to a rocky start, and are five games below .500, but they have turned the corner and have won 11 of their last 19. They have done it with offense which is problematic for the Mets as we saw last night, as the Pirates have averaged over five runs per game in their last 19. Make the play on Pittsburgh.
