Pittsburgh at Clemson

It looks like a clear path for the Clemson Tigers to get to the ACC Championship game, with this perhaps their buiggest remaining test. The Clemson offense is not as potent as it was last year, but is still very good. Because of their speed of play, they manage to score a lot of points. It seems that QB Deshaun Watson has picked his spots to run in order to stay healthy. He is nursing a bad shoulder so I don't think we will see him running much in this one. After going for over 1,100 yards on the ground last season, he has just 365 this year. Pitt has been involved in shootout after shootout, and is now on an OVER the total streak of eight straight games. That tends to have the public jumping in on the OVER, which creates a counter reaction by the oddsmakers to inflate the total. Long total streaks don't happen often and when they do the oddsmakers tend to shut them down. There are just eight instances of a team running off eight straight totals to the OVER, and their next game shows 6-2 to the UNDER and covering by nearly 8 points per game. Make the play on the UNDER.
