Pittsburgh at Carolina

Carolina has won two of the three meetings this season and it is the home underdog tonight as it tries to snap Pittsburgh's five-game winning streak.  Neither team has played since Sunday when the Hurricanes lost 3-2 in overtime to New Jersey. Carolina goalie Cam Ward is 17-8-4 with a 2.59 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. Ward hasn't allowed more than three goals his last eight starts and he is 18-11-4 in his career versus Pittsburgh. Matt Murray owns a 2.86 GAA and .908 save percentage for the Penguins this season. Carolina has held the Penguins to a total of four goals in their three games, including a 4-0 shutout with Ward in goal on Jan. 4. Play the Hurricanes.
