Phoenix at Seattle

The Phoenix mercury have established themselves as the team to beat in the WNBA this season. The Mercury went into the break with a 12 game winning streak. They have a dynamic inside-out presence on both ends of the floor with Diana Turadi and Britney Griner. Seattle is not the team they once were, but are always dangerous at home where they have a huge homecourt advantage. They tend to play above their level at home vs. the elite teams. Seattle is better than their overall record, due in large part to having played 15 of their 24 games on the road, and despite being six games under .500 they are a winning team at home. They already own a pair of wins against Minnesota at home, and they will be in focus and a tough out at home tonight. The break may have cost Phoenix the momentum that they had going into it.
