Philadelphia has a winning preseason record under outstanding coach Doug Pederson. They won their only road game this August, 24-10 at Jacksonville. The QB rotation after Carson Wentz is impressive with Josh McCown and Cody Kessler and the overall depth of the whole team is strong, winning the Super Bowl just two years ago. Rebuilding New York is favored but has a losing record this preseason with the offense averaging just 15 points, learning the playbook of new coach Adam Gase. Their offensive line has been battling injuries and the projected starting five has yet to play together. In Week 4 last season, these teams battled and the Eagles won, holding the Jets to nine points and 186 total yards. Gase has a 6-9 straight-up preseason record, so back the underdog with the superior coaching staff and depth. Take Philadelphia.
