Top pick: #8 (SURE AS GOLD) - Nicely bred filly had some promise at one time when she was in the barn Todd Pletcher. Claimed earlier this year by Kate DeMasi filly made one start before going in for a 2 1/2 month break. Daughter of "Touch Gold", chased and tired here a month ago at this level and should be set in her second back for a top effort. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #10 (Raven's Dancer) - Speed/stalker has run well in all three of her appearances, including a second-place finish here at this tag and distance Sept. 14. Obvious player is working nicely and she's a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Bull's Eye Candy) - Races third back off a claim and a 7 week layoff and grey filly has a hint of speed. Drops well below the claim price today, but it's encouraging to see leading rider Carmoche climb aboard. Can contend if she steps it up a bit.
