The Philadelphia Phillies looked like an old team to start the season a year ago, but rallied back for at least a salvaged season with some hope entering this season. Kyle Kendrick needed a good spring and delivered a 2.81 ERA, and appears ready to shake off his forgettable season in 2013. The Rangers will give the ball to Robbie Ross who will make his first career start after 100+ outings from the pen. He is likely to only go five or so innings, and it just shows the lack of depth in the Rangers' rotation with Darvish on the sidelines. The Phillies lineup has shown more life vs. left-handed starters at 7-2 in their last nine, are in a good spot here. Play on Philadelphia.
