This series may be fun to watch, as neither team has any hopes to reach the postseason, and that has been the case for a long time. Last night featured a slugfest with the Marlins prevailing in a 9-7 outcome in game one of the series. The Marlins bats have heated up, and they have been producing a lot of runs, and I expect that to continue tonight at home against the pitching poor Phillies. The Marlins may have the third fewest HRs in MLB, but slugged a pair last night to give them 10 over their last 10 games. The Phillies have played uninspired baseball when taking on a losing team where they have lost six straight times, while the Marlins have been an under-the-radar 13-3 in their last 16 as home chalk.
