Philadelphia at Dallas

This line has moved from a pick’em to Dallas being favored by 1.5. The way Dallas has been playing, they should be favored by a field goal or more. This is a huge game for both squads. Philly needs it to stay in the NFC hunt and Dallas can open a gaping hole between them and the Eagles with a win to go 4-1. These Cowboys players now believe in Bill Parcels. Whether he’s the reason they are winning or not, it doesn’t matter. That’s going to be a huge and necessary confidence boost for a team that has lost six straight to Philly by an average of 24 points per game. In this matchup, I believe Bill Parcells will have his team ready to take advantage of Philly’s aggressive blitzing defense. Quincy Carter has shown that he has grown and can make the key passes under pressure. The Cowboys have the #1 offense in the league (383 yards per game) and the #3 defense (266 ypg)! Meanwhile Philly is struggling and is one of the worst offensive teams in the league. Their secondary is still hurting with safety Brian Dawkins out another week. Dallas doesn’t squander the chance to kick the big dog when it’s down.
