Philadelphia at Baltimore

It is hard to see why Baltimore is a home dog to the last place Phillies. Philadelphia has had offensive problems all season as they wait for the return of Chase Utley and Ryan Howard. The Phillies are 3-7 the last ten games and 1-7 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning record. They are getting all this respect from oddsmakers because of Cliff Lee, but he is 0-3 on the season as Philadelphia is 3-7 in his ten starts. They Phillies are 8-19 in their last 27 interleague games as a favorite of -110 to -150.  They face a strong Baltimore team that is tenth in runs scored and sixth in slugging, with a winning record both home and away. They have a deep pen and starter Jason Hammel (6-2, 2.97 ERA) has been great all season, with a 65-22 strikeout to walk ratio in 66+ innings.
