Penn is the only Ivy League team that is not Ivy league like. They will have the best player on the court tonight in Ibrahim Jaaber. He not only is capable of scoring anywhere on the court inside or out, but is a very good defender, able to shutdown the opponents scorer. He is not alone however, as Mark Zoller and Steve Danley are projected all 1st team Ivy Leaguers as well. This is a well balanced experienced team, and should find its way into the NCAA tournament come March. UTEP has had great success the last 3 years winning 72 games. This year will be quite different, as they are not a reload type of team, but rather a rebuild. new Coach Tony Barbee will have his work cut out for him as his team returns just 3 players that even scored a point last year! One would have to believe that a team that won 47 games in the Don Haskins Center over the last 3 years, and only 25 on the road with very good teams, is going to really struggle early with no proven scorer and little expe rience vs a solid Quaker team.
