Harvard has been a scoring team in the Ivy League, but things have changed since Brian Cusworth has used up his eligibility. Harvard has not only lost a lot of points and rebounds, they have lost a lot of free throws. Nothing piles up points faster in a game as scoring with the clock stopped. Harvard averaged 32 free throws a game in Ivy League play with Cusworth, and just 17 without him. They also shot 49%, but now shoot 40.7%. Penn has dominated Ivy play over the past nine years. They are 113-22 SU, and as a double-digit road dog stand at 14-6 ATS. When they have a dominant team (two or fewer losses), they have reached 150 points in a game just five times in 84 League games! When they have a team with just one loss, they have reached 150 points in just 3 of 56 games. This line is too low, and this total is too high! Harvard has gone over this total twice this year in the Ivy since Cusworth has used up his eligibility. It took Yale shooting 63% for the game, and 53% from behind the three-point arc to reach 157 points. It also took Columbia shooting 57% for the game and 57% from three-point range to reach 160 points. Penn has a better defense than these teams, and there is plenty of value in both plays in this one.
