2nd pick: #2 (Zalmon) (10-1) - In career best form at present, he's 4-2-1-0 since late August, and he brings dangerous early speed to the contest. Colt moves way up in class following a win and a Sue Crowell claim Nov. 17th. Can impact at a big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Bold Curlin) (3-1) - He won the $100k "Native Dancer" stakes at Laurel going 8.5-furlongs on Jan. 25th. He earned the highest "figure" any of these has yet reached and was sent in for a long layoff (9 1/2 months). He's tired in both return starts and showed a much improved race last out. Has the rail and must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #8 (Graybignbadlikedad) (5-2) - Veteran tired after chasing the pace on a sloppy track here on Nov. 17th. It was his first since Sept. 29th, and he should be sharper in his second off the vacation.
