Veteran had won his previous start at this level going a mile on the Monmouth dirt. 4yo earned a career best 'figure' that day and a repeat of it would beat these.
2nd pick: #4 (Northern Call) (7-2) - He was a classier type earlier this year, but his form went bad in late July. Freshened up for almost eight weeks, speed/stalker has gone 2-1-1-0 here since returning and runs first off a Kate DeMasi claim. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (No Brody No) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, he ships in from Penn National where he was beaten 1 1/2 lengths facing slightly tougher Oct. 24th. Fits and trainer Greg Sacco brings him back quickly for this attempt.
4th pick: #6 (Celtic Moon) (8-1) - Longshot was a useful runner on the So. Californis circuit before coming east during July. He raced evenly at Delaware in late August and has been freshened up since. Very dangerous at a big price with his best.
