Top pick: #6 (HALLIE BROOKS) (9-5) - Filly has improved her game since being claimed by Ramon Preciado for $20K in early January. She's gone (5-1-2-1) since that time and comes into this off a career best when she finished second here at this level on March 24th. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (One Smart Philly) (5-2) - She and "Hallie" have met three times with this daughter of "Smarty Jones" having won that battle once while finishing close up in the other pair. One-run type is dangerous in today's finale.
3rd pick: #3 (Golden Rock) (10-1) - Well-bred filly mad a strong bid last out but tired badly when unable to make any headway on a "long gone" winner racing at this level and distance March 18th. Daughter of "Bernardini" had been competitive in four straight prior to that and can factor at a nice price.
4th pick: #2 (Magic Charm) - Tampa invader is lightly raced and has some early speed to bring to the party. Nicely spotted in her local debut and a factor if she takes to the new footing.
