Top pick: #4 (DRIVE) (5-2) - New York shipper ran evenly while being forced extremely wide when debuting at Belmont going 7-furlongs on Sept. 28. Home-bred by "A.P. Indy" has worked twice since, is in a top barn (Chad Brown 27% second time out), and is bred to like this two-turn trip.

2nd pick: #1a (Rhythm Blues) (7-2) - Colt by "Tale of the Cat" showed fine early speed last out before weakening in the final furlong. Trainer Mike Matz has worked him four times since and is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Charlie Manuel) (3-1) - Debuting colt by "Indian Charlie" cost $250,000 as a yearling and is working nicely for trainer Bob Reid Jr. He starts first out at a difficult two-turn trip, but this field is a bit weak for the level.

4th pick: #6 (Mr Brioni) (6-1) - The field's most experienced maiden, he finished an even fourth here last out going two-turns against a tougher overall group than this. Could impact at a square price.
