Top pick: #7 (WISH AHEAD) - Mare raced evenly and wide last out at this level going 6 furlongs in her first start in 7 1/2 months. Decent effort and trainer Dave Nunn will stretch her out to a distance she's 1-for-1 at. Draws a nice outside post for the trip and 6-year-old is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Princessoftheland) - Lightly raced 5-year-old was beaten less than a length at this price on Feb. 21 in her first race in five months, then tired after setting a pressured pace last out racing for $7500. Barn drops her back down and she goes third back off a long layoff(many times a horse's best).
3rd pick: #2 (Country Green) - No-speed type has rallied in three straight to garner minor awards while not ever threatening to win. Mare has some back class and would benefit the most by a fast/and or contested pace.
