Top pick: #4 (MISS DARTMOUTH) - Improving since coming back from a 7 week break in late Feb, mare finished a pace-setting third here facing tougher in the slop Mar. 21 and her connections will drop her down slightly in her third start back off the short rest. Five-year-old has won on wet surfaces in the past and looks set against a rather weak field.

2nd pick: #1 (Aspetuck Hill) - Mare was re-claimed in late Feb. by trainer Steve Brown after losing her for one race and he immediately sent her in for a two month break at that point. Daughter of "Milwaukee Brew" raced evenly sprinting facing tougher in the slop Mar. 21 and she'll stretch out in distance and drop in price for this attempt. Has the rail and is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Sophie's Meatballs) - Professional sprinter has spent most of her career facing much tougher and finished a close-up third at this level sprinting on a muddy track here Feb. 28. She'll try a two turn distance for the first time in her career this afternoon and is a threat to the top pick if she handles the new assignment.
