Old Dominion at UTEP

The Old Dominion Monarchs have come a long way in a very short period of time. They had no football program 10 years ago, and have risen from the dead to make it all the way from the FCS to the FBS in a very short time. ODU is potent offensively, and that has been good enough to bring them to UTEP with a 3-3 record on the season. The Monarchs currently rank #62 on offense in total yards. The Miners' #99 ranked offense will have trouble keeping up, especially if the defense continues to give up tons of points as UTEP has been slapped for 50+ in each of their last two games. On the season, the Miners have given up 24 or more in every game. The Miners have been poor when coming back off a bad offensive game as they are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 after failing to score 20 in their previous game, and a worse 1-8 ATS if they failed to gain more than 275 yards in their last outing. The Monarchs' offense has translated well on the road where they are 4-1 ATS in their last five, and have enough weapons to pick up the road win, or at least the cover. Go with Old Dominion.
