Oklahoma City at Detroit

Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva make their Detroit home debuts in this game. But, they'll be facing another great young player in Kevin Durant - the NBA's rookie of the year last season. Gordon and Villanueva will help the Pistons but they are far from a great team yet. Last season they were 39-43 so the hill is steep. Durant put up 25 points and 11 rebounds in the Thunder's opener. Last year in two games vs. the Pistons, he averaged 29 points per game. Oklahoma City won their game at home vs. Detroit by 10 points and only lost here in Detroit by two. Detroit is 10-23 ATS since last season as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points. They were also 11-30 ATS at home. They have a lot to prove before laying points, so I'm going with the Thunder here.
