Oklahoma at Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Rams made a big splash in the tourney last year and Danny Hurley has the Rams at 25-7 again. There is a boatload of experience on this team as four seniors have been in the program for a combined 18 years, and those four are all in the top eight in scoring. The experience and success from a year ago suggests this team will not be in a moment that is to big for them, and they got a good draw playing in Pittsburgh, where it is an eight or so hour drive for a lot of fans to take it all in. Oklahoma was once a top five team, but Trae Young was doing it all, and I think it caught up to him and the Sooners, stunting the growth of the players around him, and as he tired, the answers just were not there. Their 14-2 start ended in a woeful 4-11, and this team should not be here. Play on Rhode Island.
