UMass has made the leap to FBS, but were they truly ready? The Minutemen have played to an 0-4 start and have not been competitive at all. They have lost their first four battles by an ugly combined score of 182-35. They are allowing 43 points per game and the defense ranks No. 114 out of 124 teams. But, that isn't even the worst of things. This offense ranks second from the bottom at No. 123. They can't run or throw the ball. When you can't play competitively on either side of the ball, you’re in serious trouble. Ohio comes in with the No. 35 best offense, averaging over 35 ppg. They won at Penn State by 10 points, and no one has topped 24 on them through four games as they have run the table off to a 4-0 start to the season. This is a mighty mismatch, and the line is not nearly high enough. The Bobcats have been a momentum-driven team that is now 31-15-2 ATS after a win in their last game. And, they have covered 19 of their last 28 in conference. Frank Solich coached teams are 10-1 ATS as a road favorite of more than 14 points. As head man at Ohio, he is 15-5 ATS vs. really bad teams (those at .250 or worse). Play on Ohio here.
