San Francisco has surged past the Chicago Cubs for the second Wild-Card spot in the National League after winning seven of its first eight games following the break, part of a 10-1 run. The Giants are 44-17 in interleague home games, plus 25-10 following a win. That offense gets to tee-off Athletics righty Kendall Graveman, who has been roughed up while losing his last two outings.
