Oakland at Houston

The Oakland A's lost to the lowly Houston Astros on Monday night. They were looking down the barrel of two consecutive losses as they entered last night's game down 4-1 in the ninth. The A's muscled their way into the win column with a 6-run uprising in the final frame for a well earned 7-4 win. That has to be devastating to this young Houston team, and it sure has been in the past. Houston owns a bad 1-19 record in their last 20 when entering the ninth inning with the lead, only to lose the game, which is another key in-house factor to add to it for those results, and it fits for today's game. Oakland is now 49-17 in their last 66 as a favorite where they always mange a way to win. Houston is now 117-246 in their last 363 games as a dog. The A's are blowing the Stros away to the tune of a 25-8 record in the last 33 meetings including 13-4 in Houston. Oakland gets the call.
