Notre Dame at Michigan

Weiss certainly opened some eyes last week when Notre Dame crushed Pitt on the road to open the season. My, what coaching can do. The fact is, the Irish have some talent, and probably the superior defense in this game. Weiss has brought back Notre Dame assistant coaches and together they have this team believing and fighting again. Everyone is always high on Michigan this time of year, but this is a big time rivalry, a game that seemingly always comes down to the wire regardless of talent. The Irish are 6-3 ATS vs. Michigan in this series recently. Underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points returning 8 or more offensive starters including the QB, are 74-34 (69%) over the last 10 seasons during the first month of the season. Also, since 1992, Michigan is just 13-29 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 10 points. This looks like a lot of points to us. Notre Dame and the points for one star.
