Northwestern at Wisconsin

Once upon a time, Northwestern was the doormat of the Big-10 Conference as the Wildcats would be fortunate to stumble on a single conference win. That has changed significantly as Northwestern has a very good team from time to time, and most of the time they are at least competitive. They change roles here after an easy start to the schedule where they were favored in all three games, but Wisconsin is going into the deep end of the pool for this one. The Badgers are almost always up to the task defensively, and have had the Wildcats' number at home, as the last five meetings have seen Northwestern average just 12.6 points per game at Camp Randal Stadium. The Badgers are their usual defensive-first team, allowing just 10 ppg through three contests. I think this one plays out as many have in the past with Northwestern struggling on offense, and Wisconsin grinding out the clock in the second half. Take the UNDER in this one.
