Northern Illinois at Eastern Michigan

Over the last two years, the Northern Illinois Huskies have beaten the Eastern Michigan Eagles by a combined score of 108-27. This is an easy place for a not nearly as talented Northern Illinois team, with an inexperienced quarterback, to have a big letdown, while this one becomes a big game for a very bad Eastern Michigan team. As bad as Eastern Michigan has been, all you have to do is turn the clock back to three years ago, and as a +17.5 point underdog the Eagles went on the road to Northern Illinois and lost by just 6, and had a shot to win late. Northern Illinois has been highly erratic this season, and just last week allowed 41 points to Miami, Ohio, a team that had scored 20 or fewer points in 15 of their last 20 games.
