North Texas at Arkansas State

The North Texas Mean Green stepped out of conference for some games that were for growth, and not conducive to winning. Games against Texas Tech, Texas, Mississippi State and LSU were automatic losses, but they have achieved a dandy 9-3 mark against reasonable and comparable competition. Arkansas State has also stepped-up vs. some good teams, but at 7-9 they simply aren't getting it done in games they should be more competitive in. The Mean Green certainly hasn’t been intimidated on the road where they have amassed a 34-16-2 ATS mark in their last 52 vs. teams with a winning home record. The Red Wolves are finding it hard to pick up the pieces after a loss where they are now 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16. North Texas is the choice in this one.
