North Carolina at Syracuse

The Syracuse zone vs. the high-octane offense of North Carolina meet at the Carrier Dome tonight. At 18-9, Syracuse is squarely on the bubble, and a big win could put them on the good side of that bubble. The challenge is going to be off the glass. Carolina is +11.7 boards per game better than their opponents is troubling for the Orange. The Tar Heels can hit from deep, but rebounding out of a zone vs. the top rebounding team in the country is going to lead to extra points. Syracuse will have to shoot the ball well, and that is something this team has done over their last four games, as they have connected on 46% or better in all four of them. I think the that Syracuse will need to score, and will, and extra shots by Carolina, will lead to an abundance of second chance points. Play the OVER in this one.
