North Carolina at Rutgers

Totals and North Carolina in the 130s automatically stir an impulsive response to play OVER, but hold on. This Carolina team is still molting feathers, and has not taken off yet. The Heels have just three double-digit scorers and no one getting better than 15. Plus, two of the top five scorers are connecting on just 46% or less from the not-so-charitable stripe. So it’s needless to say, the talented Tar Heels offenses of the past have left the building. The Scarlet Knights boast a 9-2 mark here and love playing methodical basketball with 35 seconds of defense, leading to all but one staying UNDER the total on the season. The last 10 games show Rutgers allowing a stingy 56 points per game and will have enough to keep this total at bay. The Heels are 21-7-1 to the UNDER last 27 vs. a winning team says enough.
