There will be a lot of talent on the field when the Giants take on the Cowboys Sunday. There just seems to be something off with this Dallas team. They are less than the sum of the parts, seemingly losing or struggling week in and week out, despite the big name players and decent stats. They just seem to lack the mental toughness of a champion. It all starts with Tony Romo. Romo is a high-quality QB, and always has numbers to back up that statement. But, when the heat is on he seems to be at his worst. This season the numbers don't even look very good with just eight TDs and nine INTs. The Cowboys have issues with injuries in their backfield which will put even more pressure on Romo, and so will the Giants front seven who will be on him all game. New York seems to display the opposite characteristics - when they bring it, there doesn't seem to be a team in the league that can match their level of talent and intensity. While the Giants can let down vs. lower opponents, in big games they bring their "A" game (just ask San Francisco). They have a QB that lives for the moment, leading come from behind drives on a regular basis. He shines in the bright moments, while sometimes leaving heads shaking when the bright lights are off. This is a division rivalry game and a revenge game for a week one loss and the lights will be on. The Giants carry a 37-15-1 ATS mark on the road into this one, and Dallas has failed to cover in five straight at home. The Cowboys are just 4-12 ATS in their last 16 NFC games and under Tom Coughlin, the Giants are 32-20 ATS in expected close games (line of +3 to -3). Play on the G-Men here.
