Washington is glad to be back home following a 10-game trip. Jeremy Hellickson is scheduled to start and he faced the Mets twice last year and went 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA. Noah Syndergaard has struggled this season for New York and he gave up four earned runs on nine hits his last outing against San Diego. He has also given up six runs in 12 innings versus Washington this season. The Mets' offense scored 15 runs at home against Miami in two games over the weekend, but it has been a different story on the road where they managed more than three runs just once on their recent six-game trip. Syndergaard is 0-3 with a 5.83 ERA in six starts at Nationals Park in his career. The value lies with the home underdog, so play the Nationals.
