New York at Texas

The NY Mets head out on the road for an interleague game after playing seven in a row at home. They are not playing well, losing four of five, while scoring one run in three of the games. They just allowed 25 runs in three games to the Pirates. Mets starter Jacob deGrom was lit up by Milwaukee in his last game to the tune of seven runs on eight hits and five walks in four innings. The Mets have lost seven of nine on the road and are 4-9 after allowing 5+ runs in their previous game. Texas has a winning home record and is 19-7 in interleague games, plus 10-2 against losing teams. The Rangers are 11-1 at home vs. a team with a bullpen ERA of 4.20 or worse. In addition, Texas is 35-17 at home against a team with a losing road record, so back home field and play Texas.
