New York at Phoenix

This is a long road trip for New York to the Southwest for its first road contest, failing to cover either game at home. They come off a thumping loss at home to Minnesota with 40 first half points and 31 second half points. New York also may have lost point guard Brittany Boyd for a while after she injured Achilles in the fourth quarter. She will have an MRI on Friday. Phoenix has a winning record, winning two in a row with great defense allowing 62 and 72 points. They will lean on that defense even more as Diana Taurasi has a one-game suspension, missing this one.
