The Dodgers are a big home favorite with their ace going, but Clayton Kershaw has been a money-burner with a losing record overall, plus he's dropped three in a row. It's not a great situational spot for the home team, back from a 10-game road trip. The Dodgers are 1-4 in game one of a series. New York entered a three-game home set with Chicago on a four-game winning streak, so it's been a decent week. The visitors have a good arm going in righty Noah Syndergaard (3.59 ERA), with a 53-10 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 52+ innings. Syndergaard turned in his best start of his young career in Friday's 6-1 win over the Reds. He allowed one run on five hits, struck out five, and didn't issue a walk over eight innings. The team is 2-1 his last three starts and the Dodgers have never seen the kid. Take the Mets as a big road dog.
